Carol Kong is a Chinese-Canadian painter and ceramicist based in Vancouver, BC. Kong graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science in 2011 and is a professional engineer. Her artistic practice began in 2019 through the Fine Arts Certificate program at Emily Carr University of Art + Design. Her training has since included atelier classes and workshops, alongside a disciplined approach to studying the masters and observing her surroundings. Carol has participated in several juried group exhibitions. She became an Exhibiting member of the Federation of Canadian Artists in 2022 and received Associate Status in 2024.
