Heloise Auvray (they/them) is a fibre artist and soft sculptor based in so-called Vancouver on the unceded territory of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh Nations. They hold a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia with a focus on Visual Arts and Art History. Their practice currently explores themes of the self, the household and materiality of the human body. They employ repetitive and time-consuming processes, with the optic of re-valuing (s)low production.
