Deirdre Hofer is a Vancouver-based artist who works in a variety of media including painting, sculpture, and installation. She graduated from UBC with a degree in Fine Arts and BCIT with a certificate in Architectural Design. Selected earlier exhibitions include Summer Slideshows with David Wisdom at the Vancouver Art Gallery (2012 and 2016), Man Overboard at Lake Country Art Gallery (2017), Fallen at Vernon Public Art Gallery (2018), and Atmosphere at Tidal Arts Centre in Lund (2022). In 2019 her work appeared in Harper's Magazine. In 2024, solo exhibitions included Falling Snow at Richmond Public Art Gallery's City Hall Galleria, Raincloud at UMD Gallery, Ucluelet, and No at Sunshine Coast Arts Centre in Sechelt. Her work appears in group shows at Paul Kyle Gallery, Vancouver, and is held in collections in Canada and abroad.
