Melanie Olson is on a personal quest to cultivate happiness in the world. Guided by a sense of curiosity and a willingness to create without self-judgment, she draws on her inner child to bring moments of joy to both herself and others. Working intuitively with whatever materials are at hand, her practice remains fluid and exploratory.
At the heart of her work is an ongoing question: how can we, as a society, return to a more open and accepting version of ourselves—one that embraces others regardless of race, religion, or socioeconomic background—and move beyond the cycles of division and harm that shape our world today?
