Allison Hardy is an artist, educator and settler living on the unceded traditional territories of the xwməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and sc̓əwaθən məsteyəxʷ (Tsawwassen) First Nations and other hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ speakers. She works in a variety of mediums and has had her artwork exhibited in solo and group shows within Vancouver BC, North Vancouver BC, Surrey BC, and Okanagan, BC. Some interests include the collection, inheritance and circulation of natural and human-made objects and what they suggest about our lived experiences. She has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Emily Carr University of Art & Design, an Education Degree in Art Education from the University of British Columbia and a partial Masters of Art in Art Education at the University of British Columbia.
