These ceramic fragments originate from a large-scale installation and are presented individually in clear acrylic enclosures. Each piece is coated in chroma green, transforming it into a surface that resists fixed meaning.
Referencing the circulation of historical artifacts through online marketplaces, the work considers how objects become detached from their cultural and temporal contexts—reduced to images, listings, and price points. In this condition, meaning is no longer inherited, but constructed in the moment of exchange.
Each fragment stands as a complete object, despite (or because of) its disconnection.
