Surrounded by the majestic landscapes of mountains and sea, both in her hometown and now in Vancouver, she finds echoes of her childhood memories in every brush stroke.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eGrowing up, she was immersed in the rich tradition of Japanese crafts, thanks to her mother and grandmother. Their daily contribution to their home instilled in her a deep appreciation for artistry and domesticity, which she now channels into her work. She paints using acrylics and oil scenes that reflect the nostalgic charm of vintage treasures, books, flowers, and fruit all imbued with a sense of longing and familiarity.
